If Your Money Needs Permission, Are You Really Free? (remote)
Susie V Ward

About why freedom money is central to freedom, looking at privacy, censorship, financial surveillance and the growing role of permission in the way we hold and use money.

I’ll look at how money, identity, data and state power are becoming increasingly connected, and what that means for individual freedom.

It will also consider what we need from money if freedom is the objective, including the case for neutral, decentralised money and the need for separation between money and state.
