Resistance in the age of dystopia - The dangers we face and how we can win back our freedom and privacy (remote)
2026-11-21 –, Cotton Theatre - Freedom Stage

Privacy is not under attack. It is dead. The new default is mass surveillance, targeted and precise. Anonymity is a luxury of the elite. Security is a new disparity. Inequality is the norm. But this is not the end of the story. This where we begin to write a new chapter of resistance.

Privacy is no longer a presumption. It has been systematically eroded out of existence for every regular human being who is subject to corporate data collection and government surveillance regimes. Every new piece of technology exacerbates this issue even more and legislatures are racing for who gets to write the most draconian surveillance law in the world. Solutions require proper understanding of these threats before they can be mitigated. Successful reversal of these trends is possible but it necessitates proliferation of education in how everyone can protect themselves and what we can do to fight back.
