Enshittification didn't happen by accident: it's the predictable output of a system built on infinite money printing and short-term extraction. When the incentive is to inflate, dilute, and extract value before the music stops, platforms decay, art gets flattened into content, and culture optimizes for engagement instead of meaning. This isn't a tech problem. It's a monetary one.
This talk traces enshittification back to its root cause, fiat's incentive structure, and makes the case that bitcoin's fixed supply and long time horizon don't just change how we save, they change how we create. When money can't be debased, the incentive shifts from extraction to craftsmanship, from growth at all costs to building things that last. We'll look at what a hard money culture actually produces: art, platforms, and communities built for permanence instead of the next funding round.
If fiat is the rot, bitcoin is the antidote, not metaphorically, but mechanically.
Fix the money, fix the culture.

I’m a Bitcoin artist making work that doesn’t ask for permission. My art lives at the intersection of money, sovereignty, and fine art — challenging the way people think about who controls value and why. While the system keeps printing, I keep creating. I’m here to inspire the rabbit hole journey, celebrate the values of the Bitcoin community, and present it in a way that’s bold, thought-provoking, and impossible to ignore.
