What is a Mars Bar? On the surface it is a chocolate bar. In this talk it becomes a standing metaphor for what happens when money itself is quietly weakened. The talk turns to ancient philosophical arguments to understand and appreciate the difficult journey of learning about money. Conventional wisdom is often just the story that keeps the present comfortable. This talk seeks truth through a Bitcoin lens and offers guidance from some of the most influential thinkers and arguments of mankind (Socrates, Plato and Aristotle).
This talk, while big on deep philosophical arguments is a lighthearted and engaging presentation for all levels. It stresses the importance of staying course on your bitcoin journey even when times are tough and others around you are blinded by fiat noise.
